Generation after generation
For over a century, from generation to generation, we have been wine merchants and bottlers.
Maison Duprat was founded in 1905 as a wine merchant. Since then, four generations have succeeded one another, and each has made its own contribution.
The wine business is our passion, requiring know-how, respect and humility. As partners in the wine industry, we uphold the values of our region by serving our customers.
Today, proud of the work accomplished over four generations, we have invested in a new bottling center, enabling us to meet the demands of our international and French customers.

Founding of the company
The story begins when Gaston Duprat and his wife Justine set up a wine trading business in Boucau.

Second generation
His son Joseph takes over his father's business. Taking advantage of their sporting reputation (rugby), he and his two brothers set out to conquer the beverage distribution establishments of the Basque Coast.

Expanded distribution
The "Glorious Thirties" bring a very high level of activity. The distribution area extends throughout the Basque Country and the Landes region.

Change of strategy
The third generation refocuses on its core bottling business and becomes a major supplier to regional retailers.
